Welcome to our home - we are directly across from the public beach. We have recently (April 2024) renovated the second story deck (above the porch) and added a hot tub (access granted at check in after reserving guest has signed the deck and hot tub waiver) for more amazing views. The home has three bedrooms (two bedrooms with king beds, one bedroom with 2 twin beds) plus a study on the main floor off of the living room that has a queen murphy bed and curtains for privacy. It also has two bathrooms with showers and a 1/2 bath on the main floor. Our favorite room is the large 4-season porch with table and (newly added) porch swing- our favorite place to watch sunrises with coffee, play games, and watch the amazing sunsets, all the while playing our favorite tunes on the Sonos speaker system. There is plenty of parking in the driveway for up to eight cars.

No glitter or confetti! For Pets - only one dog allowed, and no aggressive breeds. No other pets. Pet is not allowed to be left alone on property unless in a kennel (I can provide a large kennel upon request - sometimes it's hard to travel with these!). For stays longer than 28 days (allowed only on an exception basis), a separate lease must be signed within 30 days of booking, or host reserves the right to cancel the booking. Reserving guest must sign Deck and Hot Tub Waiver to have access to second story deck, regardless if the hot tub is used or not. Reserving guest is asked to complete the waiver three days prior to check in. All guests that use the hot tub must sign the Deck and Hot Tub waiver. No smoking in the house, or on the second story deck or in or around the hot tub.

Since we are right on the lake, there are trains that run by several times a day. We find them charming and nostalgic! We provide sound machines and fans if the noise would bother you at night. If this is a deal breaker for you, please don't book. Also, we do allow one dog for a fee of $75 per stay, per dog. Access to the 2nd story deck w/hot tub is granted after reserving guest signs the deck and hot tub waiver, which must be signed three days prior to check-in. All guests that use the hot tub must sign the waiver. A link to the waiver will be sent to reserving guest who can forward to other guests. Alternatively there is a QR code provided on-site for guests to use their mobile device to sign the waiver.
