Welcome to Peace of Pepin! This house was named for how we want you to feel during your stay here. We love Pepin! The Lake is incredible. The sunrises, the sunsets, the sounds and the soul of Pepin await just out the front door. You’ll likely see eagles, you may see pelicans, you’ll definitely see sail boats. Good to know
Welcome to our home - we are directly across from the public beach. We have recently (April 2024) renovated the second story deck (above the porch) and added a hot tub (access granted at check in after reserving guest has signed the deck and hot tub waiver) for more amazing views. The home has three bedrooms (two bedrooms with king beds, one bedroom with 2 twin beds) plus a study on the main floor off of the living room that has a queen murphy bed and curtains for privacy. It also has two bathrooms with showers and a 1/2 bath on the main floor. Our favorite room is the large 4-season porch with table and (newly added) porch swing- our favorite place to watch sunrises with coffee, play games, and watch the amazing sunsets, all the while playing our favorite tunes on the Sonos speaker system. There is plenty of parking in the driveway for up to eight cars. Since we are right on the lake, there are trains that run by several times a day. We find them charming and nostalgic! We provide sound machines and fans if the noise would bother you at night. If this is a deal breaker for you, please don't book.
House Rules
No parties or events No smoking inside the house, including porches No glitter or confetti Please observe quiet hours from 10pm-8am Check in is at 3pm and check out is at 11am, unless otherwise arranged in advance with the host Limit of 8 guests For Pets - only one dog allowed, and no aggressive breeds. No other pets. Pet is not allowed to be left alone on property unless in a kennel (I can provide a large kennel upon request - sometimes it's hard to travel with these!). For stays longer than 28 days (allowed only on an exception basis), a separate lease must be signed within 30 days of booking, or host reserves the right to cancel the booking Reserving guest must sign Deck and Hot Tub Waiver to have access to second story deck, regardless if the hot tub is used or not. All guests that use the hot tub must sign the Deck and Hot Tub waiver. A link to the waiver will be sent prior to check in to the reserving guest. A QR code to the waiver is also provided on site.
