The space has lovely vaulted ceilings in the sitting area, a view of Lake Pepin, gas fireplace, kitchenette including sink, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, electric tea kettle, single induction cooktop, and refrigerator/freezer (not a full kitchen as there is no oven), a pub table with 3 stools, writing desk area, bedroom area separated by a privacy wall, bathroom (W.C.) with elegant glass block shower and entrances from both the bedroom and main hallway, a closet, and a private roof-top patio with grill. The courtyard/fire pit area is also maintained for guests to enjoy.

The Pepin Guesthouse is a great place to stay if you happen to be visiting the area. The guesthouse itself is outfitted well—the furnishings are well chosen; the decorations artful. The location is good as well, being just a two-minute walk from Villa Bellezza, a very nice winery with tasting room, courtyard and restaurant. The guesthouse is a little beyond the downtown restaurants, but it's probably walkable if you so desired. We preferred to sit out on the deck, with its view of Lake Pepin, for charcuterie and the bottle of wine we picked up across the street. In addition, it's clear that Katherine puts a lot of care and effort into being a host. The house itself is set up for visitors, and she communicates clearly and proactively with guests. All in all, it's a great choice.

We had a great stay at the guesthouse in Pepin. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. The home was very clean, beautifully decorated, and conveniently located. You can see the river from the front window and deck, and the periodic rumble of the train was peaceful and soothing. We would definitely stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pepin Guest Haus! The interior was well decorated without being cluttered and was very clean. I appreciated all of the labels for the different switches and doors. The fire pit/patio was the perfect place to relax!

The Pepin Guest Haus is truly a wonderful place to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beautiful town of Pepin. My now wife and I had the privilege of staying here on our wedding weekend and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home over the crazy busy weekend. It was our place to come back to and unwind and spend quality time together, whether it was in the living room by the fireplace with a surprise bottle of champagne that they so kindly gifted us, or outside by the firepit with everything needed to enjoy a peaceful night outdoors. Couldn’t recommend this place enough if you are in the area and looking for a truly splendid stay.

Very cute and nice place right on the river. The only thing you should know, although I quite liked it, was the rumble of the nearby train kind of rattles the place from time to time. We found it charming, but good to be aware.

Adorable cozy spot, we loved our stay! Close to everything, walking distance to the Winery. Nice bed linens, perfect for a girls night away. Host was very friendly and responsive/helpful. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a private comfortable and relaxing spot in Pepin close to the lake with a partial view. Thanks again!!

I couldn’t recommend this space enough! We had the most relaxing stay while in town for a family wedding. The hosts were incredible, the space was clean, cute, cozy, and we were walkable distance to everything. Added bonus: a perfect 2 mile out-and-back run from front door to a town favorite restaurant, The Pickle Factory, and back on the banks of the Mississippi! Thank you so much!!
